The plot

A man, alone, in an empty house that seems to have no foundations. He waits. He talks with his sick son, bedridden in a hospital somewhere far. Through his windows, clouds laden with rain blur the leaden grey outline of Taranto’s Italsider steel plant, a murderous mother, a Medea made of steel. There’s a suitcase on his bed. He’s leaving. But is he really?
