The plot

Nana the Happy Face Spider's Happy, Sad, Happy Day! is a fantastic story about emotions told through the eyes of species unique to Hawaii. This tale centers around Nana, who is celebrating her birthday. She is HAPPY about her big day, cake, and friends. She wakes up filled with excitement but soon realizes no one is around and her joy turns to sadness. Fortunately, as the day progresses this momentary lapse of joy turns to happiness once again. 

This story shows that we all experience a range of emotions and introduces a few of the unique species that can only be found in Hawaii.
