NollywoodWeek Film Festival (NWFF)
NollywoodWeek Film Festival (NWFF) was created to showcase high-quality Nigerian cinema to a global platform in Paris to help sustain the industry by growing its audience, finding new partnership deals for filmmakers and debunking the myth that African films = low quality. Why Nigeria? Because the Nigerian film industry is one the largest in the world, right after Bollywood from India and Hollywood from the US. Why in Paris, France? Cinema was born in France and Paris is a diverse dynamic city that loves the 7th art form.
This year, NWFF, as most festivals, is going virtual. A perfect chance to use the platform to give all Black filmmakers from around the world more exposure. Join us from May 6th - 9th for live screenings, panel discussions, conferences, networking and a highly curated selection of films from around the world written, directed by, about or starring individuals of the Black Diaspora.
