Noe Valley Girls Film Festival
The Noe Valley Girls Film Festival (NVGFF) is an annual festival that showcases films made by young girls from all around the world. The NVGFF was founded in 2016 in San Francisco, California, by four middle school girls who love to make movies. The festival's mission is to encourage young girls to make movies with the goal of creating a new generation of female filmmakers. Girls ages 15 and under can submit their films to be judged, and the top films in each age group (ages 11-15 and ages 10 and under) are screened at the festival and cash prizes are awarded to the winners. Each year there is a featured speaker, always a female in the film industry.
