African American Women In Cinema (AAWIC) a non-profit organization based in New York is pleased to announce the 23rd Annual AAWIC Film Festival taking place March 23-25, 2023 virtually. The African American Women in Cinema Film Festival is one of the celebrated female film events in the country. Every year, the AAWICFF shines its luminous spotlight onto ambitious women filmmakers from all over the country. Since 1998, the AAWICFF has premiered a number of distinctive films.
