The Eve

Simon is an eight-year-old boy who seems to have everything from life. He’s a handsome child, he’s rich yet unhappy. He senses that there’s something wrong with his life and this leads him to wander off thanks to his fervid imagination. His greatest wish is to leave the materialistic world behind since he isn’t fond of it. That’s why the only present he wants for Christmas is for Santa Claus to take him away to live in his fairyland toy factory. At the same time, a secret that his family has been keeping for a long time suddenly comes to the surface and it is feared that the worst might happen soon. The expectation for the stroke of midnight on the night before Christmas is transformed into reality for everyone on the eve of something truly different. Something terrible that might happen.

This is a biopic of a farmer, who yield harvest of gold from the black soil. Leaving his secured government job he tried his luck with determination in farming and with hard labor and complete dedication he tilled the soil so well that a loss making farmland transformed into successful turnover of 400 Crores.We have seen stories of farmers committing suicide but this inspires all farmers they can change the course of life with sheer will and courage.

Nicolás P. Villarreal was born and raised in La Plata, Argentina. He studied at the Escuela of Animación y Cinematografía de Avellaneda where he earned a degree in 2D Animation. While studying animation, he was taken under the wing of Miguel Alzugaray, a well-known fine artist from Argentina. He continued studying animation and fine art painting until he entered the Master’s Program at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Villarreal graduated with honors in the Spring of 2002, and since then he has been working as a traditional animator, character designer, sculptor and Visual Development artist for films and video games including Walt Disney Studios, Sony Computer Entertainment, Jim Henson Studios, Sega, Reel FX, Digital Domain, Duncan Studios, and Amazon Studios among others. He has given presentations at Pixar Animation Studios, Dreamworks Animation, Apple, Stanford University, The Sydney Opera House, and several universities in South America and Europe as well as a TEDx talk.

Les Notes is a short cinematic film drama shot on location in Venice. The film tells the story of two lovers on a getaway with this infinite zest for life visiting their special place. Full of passion.. piercing emotions.. exploring.. relishing the moment.. feeding their souls with the energy that is Venice but.. some times the heart escapes the past.

The couple stays at an elegant boutique hotel overlooking the Grand Canal. They are exploring, walking, dining, discovering, getting inspired. They unfold the excitement, mystery, history, passion and healing powers of this place in their own unique and spiritual way.

The stunning scenery of Venice, cinematography, acting, and cinematic musical score all blend together in advancing the story. The music was orchestrated and performed by the London Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

This is a not-for-profit initiative led by an international cinema family of filmmakers, actors, creatives, and artists who donate their talents, skills and efforts in producing a series of cinematic pieces supporting third sector NGOs, NPOs, CBOs, and AONBs through the power of arts and culture.
