The plot

Sheepish is the story of a young-stylish Spanish woman residing in New York City with her American boyfriend who is detached from any emotional concerns of others around him. When she receives a call from her elderly mother who demands that she drop everything and return to her home in rural Spain due to a death in the family. The daughter struggles to share the news with her boyfriend who is too self-involved to give attention to what she wants to say.
