Paul Junior Casimir is a puppeteer in Port-au-Prince. He leads his life as best he can despite the difficulties. He befriends a French woman who wants to learn how to make puppets. People in his neighbourhood wrongly think that he receives a lot of money from her. One of them is plotting to get the puppeteer to go to prison. Arbitrary detention is common in Haiti and the judicial system is failing. The innocent puppeteer will spend 407 days in prison for no reason. Today, his puppets are denouncing what he has lived through.
