The Stampede To Calgary is the pilot episode for “That Thing We Did” - a series of unscripted, unconventional, and hilarious adventures. Four best friends with incredible chemistry go on crazy road trips where things are sure to go wrong. Along the way, they have to complete ridiculous challenges thrown at them by the producers.

In this episode, the boys have just two days to make it from Vancouver Island to the Calgary Stampede. Their rides for the journey cost a grand total of $300 and predictably come with some rather significant mechanical issues. Challenges include a drag race shootout, fishing in Lake Louise, flying the flag of an enemy sports team in downtown Calgary, and much more.
