The plot

This documentary celebrates the life of the civil rights attorney and former University of Missouri System president. The film chronicles his life as he grew up in the south during the time of racial segregation and follows his illustrious career as he seeks social Justice equity and equality for all.

Born and raised in mid-Missouri, Jonathan E. McCormack received his B.A. in Film Studies from the University of Missouri. He has spent the last three years as a Media Producer at MU, as well as an adjunct professor in Cinematography. Jonathan will begin the MFA program in film and television production at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts in 2020.
